Description
<p><span><b>Jan Willem de Vriend </b>is taking up the position of chief conductor of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra at the beginning of the season - the collaboration has already proven itself highly effecitve in two projects in the past as part of the cycle "Symphonie Classique".</span></p><p><span>The founder and long-time director of the Combattimento Consort Amsterdam conducts three of the seven matinees.</span></p><p><span></span></p><p><span>The cycle programme is therefore predominantly classical and baroque, yet does in not shy away from excursions into modernism and romanticism.
