Biography
Jaime Naya began his musical education at the age of five with Savva and Sergei Fatkulin. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska in Madrid, where he was awarded a scholarship from the Katarina Gurska Foundation after winning First Prize at the Musical Talent Competition. He is currently pursuing his Master’s studies at the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin under the guidance of Professor Mihaela Martin.
Throughout his career, he has received awards at several prestigious national and international competitions, including First Prize at the Leonid Kogan International Competition for Young Violinists in Brussels (2020). He has also been a laureate of the Ion Voicu International Violin Competition (2025), the Juventudes Musicales de España Competition in Madrid (2022), the Concours International Grumiaux pour Jeunes Violonistes in Brussels (2018), and the Mozarteum Summer Academy Prizewinners’ Concert in Salzburg (2022).
As a soloist, he made his debut at the Santander International Festival in 2025 and has performed with orchestras such as the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Galicia, the Valencia Symphony Orchestra, and the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra. He has appeared in major concert halls including the National Auditorium in Madrid, the Palau de la Música in Barcelona, the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, the Galicia Auditorium in Santiago de Compostela, the Teatro Principal in Ourense, the ADDA in Alicante, and the Edgar Neville Auditorium in Málaga.
His international engagements have taken him to Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Austria, and France.
