Winner of theĀ Queen Elisabeth CompetitionĀ (2024) and theĀ MontreĢal International Violin CompetitionĀ (2023), the young Ukrainian Dmytro Udovychenko is a phenomenon that inspires growing curiosity and admiration worldwide. The 26-year old native of Kharkiv continues to refine his artistry at theĀ Kronberg Academy; his current mentors areĀ Boris GarlitskyĀ andĀ Christian Tetzlaff.Ā Leonidas KavakosĀ chose him as his soloist for a concert with Athens State Orchestra.

This season Dmytro UdovychenkoāsĀ artistic partners includeĀ AndreĢs Orozco-EstradaĀ and theĀ GuĢrzenich Orchestra, with whom he plays the Sibelius Concerto at Cologne Philharmonic;Ā Oksana Lyniv, who accompanies him in Shostakovich Violin Concerto No. 1 both withĀ lāOrchestre National de FranceĀ at theĀ Maison de la RadioĀ in Paris and with theĀ Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di BolognaĀ at Auditorio Manzoni. Among other season highlights are a benefit concert forĀ GermanyāsĀ largest crisis helpline atĀ Konzerthaus Berlin, a collaboration with a member of the Vienna Philharmonic Harald KrumpoĢck and theĀ Vienna Chamber OrchestraĀ at theĀ Wiener KonzerthausĀ and aĀ Carnegie HallĀ debut in May 2026.
Next season Dmytro Udovychenko will partner withĀ Sakari OramoĀ and theĀ BBC SymphonyĀ Orchestra at theĀ Barbican Center.
Mr. UdovychenkoāsĀ previous partners includeĀ lāOrchestre Symphonique de MontrealĀ andĀ Rafael Payare, theĀ London Philharmonic OrchestraĀ andĀ Natalia Ponomarchuk, theĀ Finnish RadioĀ Orchestra andĀ Dima Slobodeniuk, theĀ Strasbourg PhilarmonicĀ Orchestra andĀ Aziz Shokhakimov, theĀ NDR RadiophilharmonieĀ andĀ Icelandic PhilharmonicĀ Orchestra withAndrew Manze. Two of Ukraineās top orchestras āĀ National Philarmonic Orchestra of UkraineĀ andĀ Kyiv Symphony OrchestraĀ āĀ have performed with Dmytro Udovychenko, the latter at theĀ Berlin Philharmonic.
His recital tour has taken him to theĀ Elbphilharmonie,Ā Wigmore Hall,Ā BOZAR,Ā Seoul Arts Center,Ā Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, and many other prestigious venues across the globe.
Mr. Udovychenko is also a laureate of the Sibelius Competition, the Singapore International Violin Competition, and the Joseph Joachim Competition in Hanover, where he won Second Prize in 2018.
Dmytro Udovychenko plays theĀ Huggins StradivariusĀ on generous loan from the Nippon Foundation. He is supported by the Vere Music Fund, Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz, and Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
