Together with her duo partner, pianist Richard Fu, she won First Prize at the Wigmore Hall Bollinger International Song Competition in 2024, becoming the youngest winner in the competition’s history. In August 2025 she made her debut at the Bregenz Festival as Tisbe in Rossini’s La Cenerentola. Concert appearances have included Schubertiades in Dürnstein and Atzenbrugg, and performances alongside Michael Schade and Justus Zeyen at the Randhartinger Serenade, as well as Klassik Klang Berndorf with Daniela Fally and Adrian Eröd.
In December 2024 she performed Mozart’s Requiem with the Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria conducted by Andreas Ottensamer. In the same month she made her debut at the Vienna Musikverein as soloist in Schumann’s Der Rose Pilgerfahrt with the Wiener Singverein under Johannes Prinz. Highlights of the 2025 2026 season include a Christmas programme at the Salzkammergut Festival Weeks in Bad Ischl, Bach’s Magnificat with the Tonkünstler Orchestra conducted by Stefan Gottfried, and Bruckner’s Te Deum under Yutaka Sado. She also appears with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra under Jan Willem de Vriend in Haydn’s Paukenmesse at the Vienna Konzerthaus.
Further highlights have included Schubertiades with Sir András Schiff and Julian Prégardien at the Vienna Konzerthaus and at the Kronberg Academy. In summer 2026 Anja Mittermüller will make her debut at the Salzburg Festival, singing the role of the Dryad in a new production of Richard Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos as part of the Young Singers Program, conducted by Manfred Honeck.
